Performance Rating

The following graph describes the PSU's total performance rating, comparing it to other units we have tested in the past. To be more specific, the tested unit is shown as 100% and every other unit's performance is relative to it. Read this article if you want to know the exact method we use to calculate each PSU's performance rating.

Performance per Dollar

The following graph is the most interesting to many of you because it depicts the unit's performance-per-dollar score, comparing it to other units we have tested before. We looked each PSU's current USD price up on Newegg and used it and all relative performance numbers to calculate and put together the performance-per-dollar index. If Newegg didn't have a specific unit in stock, we searched for it at other popular online shops (e.g., TigerDirect, Amazon) and, if the unit was not sold in the U.S., at popular EU shops (e.g., Caseking), converting its price to USD (w/o VAT). Note that all the numbers in the following graph are normalized by the rated power of each PSU.

Noise Rating

The graph below depicts the cooling fan's average noise throughout the PSU's entire operating range, with an ambient temperature between 28°C and 30°C.

Efficiency Rating

The graph below shows the average efficiency of the PSU throughout its entire operating range, with an ambient temperature between 28°C and 30°C.
