The product box for the Shanling MTW300 is small and will also fit well into a retail store courtesy the hang tag on the top. The front is more colorful than the rest of the box, with a blue and white base that has the product name and company logo, renders of the earphones, and some salient marketing features at the bottom. More features and product specifications greet us on the back in multiple languages, with contact information following suit on the side. The other side simply has an "Open," and the box opens up to unveil the contents inside without any seals that have to be taken off. There is s thick foam piece with cutouts made to snugly fit the two ear buds and the charging case underneath. The ear buds have tape over their charging pins, which you would want to remove before inserting them in the case for charging.
Under the foam lies a cardboard layer with the rest of the accessories, marked as such on the cover with the company logo. Shanling includes a multi-language user guide that goes over not only the setup and pairing of the earphones, but also the integrated touch controls. There is also a braided black USB Type-A to Type-C cable, handy for charging the case itself. A plastic pouch contains ear tips we will take a look at below.
This is by far the most ear tips I have received for a TWS earphone, and seeing how these are all made out of the same silicone composition, we never had more sizes to choose from, either. There are the smallest ear tips I have seen included, which will no doubt make many folks happy since their smaller ear canals are finally being catered to. In fact, a total of seven pairs come with the Shanling MTW300, of which one pair is pre-installed on the ear buds themselves. A couple of these sets also have a taller profile, which helps accommodate different concha shapes and sizes, too.
Shanling also included a silicone case accessory that is separately sold as needed for ~$7. It comes in a smaller cardboard box with the company logo on the front and a succinct mention of the product underneath. A sticker on the back confirms it is related to the MTW300 itself. This time around, we do get a seal on either side, opening which we see a wax paper wrap that contains the product.
The silicone case consists of two shaped pieces of thick, durable silicone. It's a light gray, and the top has the Shanling logo and double-sided tape on the contact side. The larger piece has cutouts to accommodate the ports on the charging case.
