The SilentiumPC Aquarius X90 ships in a plain cardboard box with black print on it. Both large sides are identical, but deliver the same content in different languages. The same goes for the small sides with the Aquaris X90's specifications. Two carrying holes should make its transportation from the post office to your doorstep a breeze.
The case is held in place by two Styrofoam spacers, while a plastic bag has been put over the chassis itself at the factory to protect it from fingerprints and scratches.
All you get with the Aquarius X90 are a few screws, a handful of zip ties, and a pamphlet which informs you to remove the thumbscrew holding the dust filters in place. There is no real manual which would be good to have, especially for those first-time builders out there.
SilentiumPC also sent us a few extras. These consist of additional HDD-mounting possibilities which allow you to expand the number of drives you can install into the chassis by four. This extra is rather cheap, selling for just 9 US dollars excluding taxes / 8 euros including taxes.
There is also the windowed side panel SilentiumPC sells separately. It features a large opening with a tinted plastic panel, so you may show the interior of the chassis off to envious onlookers. You may buy this windowed panel for a mere 14 US dollars excluding taxes / 9,90 euros including taxes.
