Value and Conclusion
- The 32 GB (2x 16 GB) Silicon Power XPOWER Zenith RGB 3600 MHz kit is available for around US$200.00.
- Great performance
- Good Intel overclocking
- RGB implementation could be better
The Silicon Power XPOWER Zenith RGB is a solid and sensible kit. The brushed gray aesthetic allows for easy matching with almost any build, and the low profile provides excellent cooler clearance. The RGB LED implementation gets points for software compatibility, but could use some work on the diffusion as there are gaps in the illumination that are not present in competing kits.
The Silicon Power XPOWER Zenith RGB performed well at the 3600 MHz 18-22-22-42 XMP rating. For overclocking, the Silicon Power XPOWER Zenith RGB 3600 MHz proved to have a fair amount of headroom on my Intel test system, reaching 4100 MHz stable with my MSI MEG Z590 ACE and Intel Core i9-10900K combination. AMD overclocking with my MSI MEG X570 ACE and Ryzen 5 3600X test system was less productive. I was able to reach a respectable 4066 MHz at XMP timings, but the Silicon Power XPOWER Zenith RGB was not stable at either the "Fast" or "Safe" timings preset.
The Silicon Power XPOWER Zenith RGB offers stable performance at a competitive price. At US$200, the MSRP for this specification of the Silicon Power XPOWER Zenith RGB is a little on the high side, but within range of similarly specced kits. If you are looking for a sensible memory kit that won't break the bank, the Silicon Power XPOWER Zenith RGB is worth looking at.
