Installation
When it comes to installing the Silverstone Argon AR03, users will find it is very straight forward. On LGA2011, you start by screwing the four screws around the socket in. They, once installed, form the base the mounting arms will attach to.
It is now time to slip the Intel mounting arms over the screws before using the thumb screws to hold the mounting arms in place. With that done, apply the thermal paste in preparation for mounting the heatsink.
Fit the crossbar into place on the Heatsink's base before lining it up with the posts on the mounting arms. Use the screws to tighten the cooler down, and that's it.
All that is left after the heatsink has been attached is to mount the fan. Pull four of the eight anti-vibration mounts through the holes on the fan. Once attached, simply slide them into place on the heatsink. Keep in mind that the extra mounts in fact allow users to install a second fan.
Installing the Silverstone Argon AR03 was ridiculously easy on LGA2011. I would rate it a 9 on a scale of 1 (hardest) to 10 (easiest).
