The Silverstone Heligon HE01 heatsink comes in a compact box considering the size of the heatsink itself. The box measures roughly 22 cm in length, 20 cm in width, and 15 cm in height. The box has a very plain design with the top listing the cooler's make, model, and features. The first side only lists the heatsink's series and model; there honestly isn't anything particularly interesting here. The bottom has a representation of the cooler and once again lists the cooler's series and model number.


The other two sides list the Heligon HE01's specifications and the company's website for those seeking more information on the product. The packaging is, overall, very minimalistic in that it does not have any bright colors or fancy looks. Silverstone went with a simple box that provides adequate protection, wasting nothing on anything else.

With the box open, it is easy to see that everything is tightly secured in the package. The cooler is well supported, with zero space for it to move or slide around inside the box. The mounting hardware itself was sealed in plastic bags that were placed inside a small cardboard box for protection. The packaging Silverstone used is, while small, still adequate because it provides ample protection to its contents. Silverstone made great use of a space that offers little spare room when it comes to holding the Helgion HE01.


The mounting hardware Silverstone included with the Heligon HE01 allows the cooler to be mounted onto all modern Intel- and AMD sockets. The heatsink is made of aluminum with copper heatpipes, and the fan Silverstone has included is a massive 140 mm x 140 mm x 38 mm, which is by far the largest fan of any cooler I have tested to date. Then there are of course the extra fan clips for attaching more fans. The backplate that is being used is universal and works for both AMD and Intel; however, the mounting arms are different. Regardless of the differences, almost all users will find their socket to be supported by this product.
