Silverstone offers a few very unique chassis. The Fortess series springs to mind while and the entire concept of the turned motherboard is basis to quite a few cases from the company. For good reason, as the Raven 2 Evolution with USB 3.0 shows. It manages to take the already established Raven 2, includes USB 3.0 and updates the bay area to allow for more drives to be installed. On top of that, the new design enables the use of the CP05 brackets to bring hot-swap to these bays. The Raven 2 Evolution with USB 3.0 scores big points for its unique mainboard tray, the three speed adjustable Air Penetrator fans and the excellent cable routing possibilities.
All these features do come at a price though, which is a bit too much when compared to traditionally shaped cases with the same functional feature-set. So you have to ask yourself if the better thermal aspects of such a layout are worth the slightly higher price tag. If you deem such a feature worthy of your money, then the Raven 2 Evolution does not disappoint at all. Silverstone, add an external HDD dock, more I/O and a full rack of CP05 for complete hot-swap to the chassis, then offer it for 199 USD and you may end up with the ultimate Raven chassis
