Packaging

The chassis ships in a plain brown box with simple branding. Included is a specification table and small sticker to inform you which variant of the Meshroom S you received.

Two Styrofoam spacers hold the case in place, and a plastic bag has been placed over the assembly as protection from scratches and fingerprints.

We were also sent the 25 cm PCIe ribbon cable, which you'll need when going beyond the ITX form factor. The Meshroom S officially can support M-ATX as well as ATX cases, but you will really need to plan ahead to make all the parts work well together. The ribbon riser cable shipped to us in a plain brown box with a blacked out name and no additional information. Even the online manual goes into no real detail besides a single image - something ssupd should improve upon.

Contents

With the Meshroom S, you will receive several bags of black screws, zip ties and a compact alternative spacer for 4 slot GPU use. Additionally there is a fourth expansion slot cover which serves a pretty unique purpose, as we will see later on, and ssupd also provides multi-purpose mounting brackets so that you may install up to four SATA SSDs within the case. This bracket also functions as a PCIe ribbon mounting base for ATX or M-ATX builds. Unlike the original Meshlicious, there is no manual included with the Meshroom S, a shame, considering you must instead resort to pinch and zoom manouvers on your phone.

Pivoting back to the optional PCIe cable, it sports the Lian Li branding. Being a PCIe 4.0 certified cable, you should have no issues pushing modern graphics cards to the max, as it is soft and flexible routing the cable to the board should be straightforward too.
