SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless Review - The King of Gaming Headsets

Introduction

SteelSeries Logo

I consider myself somewhat of a fan of the SteelSeries Arctis gaming headset lineup. Over the years, we've covered nearly the entire lineup (just type "Arctis" into our review search box), and I was almost always left impressed by the performance, build quality, and/or price-to-performance ratio. Needless to say, I have been quite excited to dig into the newest member of the family, the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless. With this headset, launched alongside its wired counterpart, the Arctis Nova Pro, SteelSeries truly went all out, implementing all the best headset technologies they currently offer while modernizing the design, and slapping a hefty $350/€380 price tag on it.

At such a high price, the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless—or any other gaming headset, for that matter—has to be pretty close to perfect. Looking at the specifications, that's exactly what SteelSeries was going for. I can't think of a single gaming headset currently on the market with more features, but also comparable versatility. Thanks to its sleek, unobtrusive design, retractable microphone, integrated Bluetooth 5.0 support, and 4-microphone hybrid Active Noise Cancellation technology, the Nova Pro Wireless will happily follow you when you leave your home to serve you as a pair of wireless travel headphones. Like its spiritual predecessor, the Arctis Pro Wireless, the Nova Pro Wireless has a hot-swappable dual battery system, which SteelSeries calls "Infinity Power System," an AI-powered ClearCast Gen 2 bidirectional noise-canceling microphone, and a host of other interesting features. There's a lot to unwrap, so let's dig in.
