Build Quality

The general build quality of the Sensei 310 is very good; no creaking parts, no discoloration, even lighting, and a satisfying haptic feeling.

Buttons & Scroll Wheel

The main buttons use the Omron D2FC-F-K(50M) switches. Their feedback is nice and crisp on the unit I received, as well as on the Rival 310 that uses the same switches, but I've heard voices from the community claiming to have very uneven left and right click sounds and feelings. Mine are perfectly fine and even; the only minor issue I found is that you can move the button pieces laterally when the button is pressed. This is due to the design of the hinges and doesn't really bother me for daily use - it's just something I noticed because the buttons moved when pressed down hard.

The mouse wheel itself is resting in a TTC wheel encoder and has good feedback, while the mouse click itself is alright, but a bit stiff.

Here, you can see the Sensei 310's button response (A) as compared to the Logitech G900's (B), where the G900 is just slightly faster than the Sensei 310. I doubt that 0.9 ms is detrimental to anyone, so I'd rate the Sensei's button response as excellent.

Cable

The cable is great, comparable to the Zowie cables; light and flexible and not braided. I'd wish more mice would come with cables like this out of the box.

Mouse Feet

The feet fit nicely into the bottom, and while the feet themselves don't look to be rounded, they also never snagged on the mouse pad at all and glide well. I guess it also helps that the bottom itself is rounded at the edges.

Surface

The surface feels as though it is of high quality, and the buttons and palm area have some sort of a soft-touch rubber coating; it feels like a hybrid of the original Microsoft WMO and Sensei Raw Rubberized. It's more coarse than the Sensei Raw Rubberized. The sides have a more spongy, soft rubber with little indents that are easy to grip for both moist and dry hands.
