The Streacom BC1 V2 Open Benchtable is not meant to be a sensible choice, but it clearly represents one of the most refined, high-quality options for such a setup out there. You get a product made out of a single thick slab of 5052 grade aluminium which is cut out or extruded to create the two feet and all the various mounting and embedding possibilities. In other words, there is really nothing else like it out there.
The whole assembly process requires no tools unless you want to tighten any of the thumbs screws beyond what you hands can provide, which in itself speaks to the level of detail and engineering that also shows in the way the expansion cards are secured in a unique yet functional and sturdy fashion, as well as the metal push pins for the motherboard giving you the perfect balance between security and flexibility.
As an open bench table, the Streacom BC1 V2 also needs to accommodate various scenarios, which it manages to do for all but the most extreme ones. It even includes a less useful, but quite fun vertical display mode I could see some use as a permanent setup on their desktop.
All things considered, the Streacom BC1 V2 is a functional, versatile, extremely well-engineered, and, dare I say it, fun bench table that looks beautiful, even if such a niche product comes with a price premium.
