Introduction
I would like to thank
Streacom for supplying the review sample.
Streacom is known for their unique cases and the DA6 we are reviewing here is no exception. Even though, as an open air chassis, there may not be a lot of wiggle room in terms of design, Streacom has put a lot of thought and creativity into the details of the DA6, which look to make the assembly process extremely flexible while also remaining functional. As such, it will be quite interesting to experience this build! the DA6 is available in two sizes, with the larger one aptly named DA6 XL. We are reviewing the smaller of the two.

Packaging
The Streacom DA6 ships in a plain brown cardboard box with a large sticker letting you know what's exactly inside & which color you will be getting. The case itself comes fully assembled and sandwiched between two black foam protective pieces. The fact that Streacom has made the extra effort for a fully built unit instead of individual parts is great, especially as the mounting bars are also pre-applied.
Streacom also sent us their RZ4-21B, which is a PCIe Gen 4.0 Riser cable specifically for the DA6. it ships vacuum packed inside an antistatic bag.
On top of that they also shipped the BMI, which is a power button replacement that also acts as a biometric scanner. This means you can do away with passwords in Windows by using your unique fingerprint instead. It ships with the required screws and a tool to swap out the existing button.
Last, but not least, we also received their TX13 thermal paste, which ships in a cardboard pouch. Each holds five portions of thermal paste in nifty little applicator pouches.
