Output Noise

For these measurements, we used a high-quality CEM-8852 Sound DB Meter and installed it 50 cm away from the NAS. The ambient noise in our lab during noise measurements was below 30 dBA.



The small fan doesn't produce a lot of noise while the NAS is operating normally, making this an ideal NAS for use at home.

Output Noise Comparison Graphs

The following graphs show the output noise of DS713+ in comparison to other units we have tested in the past.



The DS713+ may not be the quietest NAS we have ever encountered, but it is still very quite. Its noise output will definitely not annoy, even in a quiet home.
