RAID Operations
We perform RAID sync operations during which we measure the time the NAS needs to complete these tasks; average power consumption for these rebuild and synchronization periods is also measured. In NAS servers with four bays or more, we rebuild and sync RAID 1, RAID 5, and RAID 6 arrays, but are confined to a RAID 1 array in smaller two-bay NAS servers. The Bitmap option is disabled in NAS servers that support it to produce comparable results since it speeds up RAID rebuild times.

RAID 6 Rebuild | 4:03:37 | 31.34 W |

RAID syncing and building times are on the high side, which isn't surprising since the CPU isn't very strong.
