Introduction
Team Group is a Taiwan-based manufacturer largely rooted in the manufacture of memory. The brand is not as well known here in North America, but has been gaining a lot of ground over the past few years with its gaming-centric "T-Force" product line. T-Force offers a whole roster of gaming memory designed around striking looks and high performance. The NIGHT HAWK line of memory has been around for a little while now, featuring complex and uniquely cast aluminium heat spreaders. More recently, the NIGHT HAWK kits have been taken to the next level with addressable RGB light bars. The already striking winglike shape is now accentuated by the many lighting effects. The heat spreader is available in multiple colors for most kits, though the sticks I am looking at today only come in silver for the moment.
That may sound disappointing, but don't go away just yet. The latest in the T-Force NIGHTHAWK line, the T-Force NIGHT HAWK Legend RGB is designed around high performance Samsung IC's boasting a 3200 MHz frequency and incredibly tight 14-14-14-31 timings. Team Group developed this kit for the newest Intel Z390 chipset—to extract the most out of the latest Core processors. I paired the T-Force NIGHT HAWK Legend RGB with my Intel i9-9900K and an ASRock Z390 Taichi, and the result was quite impressive.
