The Tecware Impulse Pro comes in a classic gaming mouse box. There is a flap on front, with a plastic cover underneath for you to take a look at your newest addition. The package contains the Impulse Pro mouse, a quick-start guide, and an extra set of mouse feet, which is a very thoughtful and rare addition at this price point.
Shape
I realized this is another ODM product after a quick first glance, so my expectations weren't too high. Thankfully, I could have set my standards way higher since the Impulse Pro is probably the best ODM mouse I've tested so far, but more on the technical specifications later; let's see what it looks like first! We're talking about a fully ambidextrous gaming mouse with side buttons on both sides, which means it can be an equally sound choice for left and right-handed users.
The mouse has a relatively low profile and can generally be considered to be of a safe shape, providing a lot of possible grip styles for many differently sized hands. The lower back area flares out, and the sides are curved inward, which helps if you pick up the mouse a lot. The main buttons also feature slight comfort grooves, which can help your fingers settle into a more natural, relaxed position.
The Impulse Pro is 126 mm (4.96") long, which can be considered average for gaming mice. The total width is 66 mm (2.60"), but depending on your grip style, the actual width at which it is gripped is much narrower, being only about 54 mm (2.13"). The total height is 38 mm (1.50"), and the hump is a bit towards the back. With these dimensions, I would mainly recommend this mouse to claw and fingertip grippers with hands that are at least 17 cm long, but again, it's a versatile shape and can be used however you want. I would say it probably isn't great for palm gripping because of its height, although it definitely is possible with even smaller hands.
