Listening and Talking to Gamers

Gamers criticize Tesoro for not backing good hardware with useful system software. What steps is the company taking to change this perception?
This was one of the first issues I began to look into when I joined Tesoro. Though our original software does have decent functionality, it is a bit dated and in much need of an overhaul. We are currently redesigning the system software as a whole, and it is a work in progress. Stay tuned as this is something that can be expected to be unrolled in the near future.



What are your recommended combinations of Tesoro keyboards, mice, and headsets for FPS/MOBA, RTS, and MMORPGs?
Tesoro keyboards are designed to be optimal for all games, possessing well-rounded features and the ability to customize them to individual needs. As for mice and headsets, any combination of the Ascalon and Thyrsus along with the Olivant Pro and Kuven Pro is great for MOBA and MMORPGs gaming since the mice offer several hot keys and the headsets offer a great audio experience.

FPS games demand extreme comfort to allow gamers to direct their attention to pinpoint precision during the game, and this is exactly what our Sagitta Spectrum and Sharur Spectrum mice provide. Our Olivant headset allows gamers to hear even the slightest of noises, making it an ideal combo for FPS games.

Choosing a mouse for RTS games is all about it being lightweight, which is another great attribute of the Sharur Spectrum. Combining this with the Olivant Pro or the Kuven Pro makes for a deadly in-game setup.


Could you walk us through your e-Sports strategy? Are you looking for e-Sports teams to sponsor? If you already do, could you describe your current partnerships?
We have been making a complete overhaul with the Tesoro brand over the past few months and this process will continue over the next few months as we tweak and tune the brand and improve on the foundation we already have in place. Currently, we are not involved in any partnerships, but we plan to jump back into the e-sports arena once we have things in line.

And Lastly

What game do Tesoro employees play at work when the bosses aren't looking?
I'm a big prankster, so I'm always on the lookout to catch someone off the ball for a surprise, but other than that, I know a lot of my colleagues are into mobile games, and that's another interesting field in and of itself that is beginning to boom. I'm working on getting some VR into the office, and if that happens, there may be trouble.
