Packaging and Contents

Thermalright's Le Grand Macho RT comes in a medium box that measures 22.5 cm in length, 22 cm in width, and 23.6 cm in height. On the front are a massive image of the Le Grand Macho RT and a small Thermalright logo. Moving to the left side, you will find the included fan along with some awards Thermalright has accumulated over the years. The back of the box details the cooler's specifications and lists all supported CPU sockets.

Users will find a few of the cooler's features on the right side, such as its direct airflow design or VGA card and mosfet clearance, just to name a few. The top of the box just reads "Le Grand Macho" on a bright green background.

Thermalright did go above and beyond most manufacturers by putting soft foam around the cooler. It certainly is nice to see and offers some peace of mind. One thing to note, however, is that you might have to dig around to find the screwdriver, but it is in there.

Everything a person would need to mount the Thermalright Le Grand Macho RT is included. The universal design does away with unnecessary parts, which keeps installation easy for first-time builders and just makes the process less of a headache. Also, the screwdriver is included; I had it in my hand, sat it down, and couldn't find it after that. Be smart and keep track of your tools.
