The Thermaltake Armor A90 makes one thing clear from the very beginning. The case is geared toward the gamer with a great looking design. The all black interior, bottom mounted PSU bay and anti-theft system all point towards that as well. Sure, the interior has not changed in the last year, as it still uses the same interior as the Element T and thus comes with all the same shortcomings. Sure, Thermaltake has had over a year to correct these issues instead of simply putting a new design on the frame and painting the interior black. That said, the Armor A90 is still a good chassis. Unlike the Element T, with which it was not clear whom the chassis was aimed at, the message is crystal clear with the A90. The cool looks, well placed fans, nifty window and I/O on two seperate locations are probably the reasons one would go for this chassis. One aspect you should keep in mind however, while there is plenty of space for large CPU coolers, your VGA card length is limited to 260 mm so make sure that your gaming gear will fit. But, like I mentioned above, the Armor A90 is all about its menacing looks, so those who like the looks will be willing to live with the few shortcomings of the chassis. Last but not least, the case clocks in at the same price as the Element T last year, while offering a better feature set.
