Thermaltake Divider 500 TG Air Black Review

Packaging

Unlike the original Thermaltake Divider 500 TG ARGB, the Air variant ships in a plain brown cardboard box. It features the same image on both the larger panels and one of the smaller ones, while the last side lists the enclosure's specifications. Whoever shipped the case taped edge pieces to it, wrapped the whole thing, and taped it up even more, so our sample's packaging looks a bit rough, but yours should look nice and clean when bought in retail.

Thermaltake sandwiches the case between two big Styrofoam spacers, each of which also holds one of the additional side panels that come with the Divider 500 TG Air. Interestingly enough, our sample's unboxing experience was pretty underwhelming with tape wrapped all around the Styrofoam as well (editor's note: when mentioned to Thermaltake, we were shown a picture of a properly packaged unit, and they are looking into the shipment batch the sample was a part of to investigate).

Contents

You will receive a mounting plate for vertical GPU mounting should you go for the optional ribbon cable, a full set of screws, two Velcro cable ties, and a good number of zip ties. As just hinted, Thermaltake goes as far as to include a glass panel for the main side and a vented steel panel for the other side of the case. A full-fledged manual is also part of the extras.
