Drives Installation

The harddisk cages are rotated 90° which makes them easier to reach. In addition to that the drive cages can be pulled outward by pressing the tabs on the sides together - no tools required.

The "trays" on which the HDDs rest have no screws at the sides, but the HDD will be screwed in at the bottom. The black rubber acts as shock absorber which makes sure noise from the disk does not travel through the case metal, which would amplify the noise.

The external 3.5" drive bay can be as easily removed. Press together the tabs on the sides and you can pull out the whole cage with both drives.

Guess what you have to do to remove the 5.25" slot covers. Yup. Press together the tabs on the sides. With earlier cases from Thermaltake the rails you have to attach to the drives could easily get lost. Now they can be stored inside the slot cover. They slide in and sit there very snugly, so I doubt you can lose one, even if you move your case a lot.
