All protections are present and the warranty is very long, at seven years. So you will definitely have your piece of mind with this PSU. Also the blades of the cooling fan have a unique flower shape, which increases airflow and reduces the total noise output by up to 3%, according to Thermaltake. The only downfall in the above table is the high price tag. Currently it is one of the most expensive 1200W Gold units (if not the most expensive) and its price difference to the top performing Antec HCP-1200 and Corsair AX1200 is significant, so it must perform way better than these two to justify such a high price difference.

The unit is equipped with two +12V rails with unequal power distribution. Also the max combined power of +12V clearly shows that DC-DC converters are used for the minor rails generation. Of course in a Gold PSU this method of generating the minor rails is a one way road as it seems because it offers increased efficiency. Finally 5VSB is rather strong with six whole Amperes maximum power.

The PSU has lots of cables/connectors, something highly expected of course since it has 1200W capacity. However not all 1200W units feature eight PCIe connectors (see Corsair AX1200 for example which has only six). The only hardwired wires are the main ATX and the EPS connectors while all other are modular. All cables are nicely sleeved and their length is optimal. Also the distance among the connectors is sufficient. Finally all hardwired connectors use thicker 16 AWG wires while all modular ones use 18 AWG wires. We would prefer to see the modular PCIe connectors having 16 AWG wires, too, although this would make cable management harder.
