I always request 2-3 fan samples, whenever feasible, to allow for testing of multiple fans for statistical accuracy. Somehow TRYX read that email as "send VSG 8 fans, four in each color," as I ended up with a massive box containing what you see above. It's not the easiest to photograph black, white, and lime green together but there's no denying it makes for a more eye-grabbing packaging in case you see these in a retail store. On the front is the brand and product name, with a smaller render of the fan that's matching the color of the actual fan inside. The same goes for the product box too, which is a nice touch, with the Pro moniker confirming you have the faster speed version. Fan specs are seen on the back, where we also see how the Pro and non-Pro versions differ—as of the time I write this review, TRYX has only launched the ROTA Pro.
The box opens from the bottom, with the underside of the front now showing us a visual guide on the contents inside as well as how to use the fans. It might actually take more time to take the fan and accessories out of the box—thanks to TRYX packing them in different compartments that then fold inward into where the fan is placed—than it probably will to actually install the fan. Each fan comes with a useless warranty information note, and I will also note there's no mention of warranty on the product page or packaging as of this time, with the generic warranty page on the still incomplete website only saying all TRYX products will carry a minimum of two years warranty. We also get a set of four self-tapping metal screws for use as a case fan, and a PWM extension cable.
