Founded in 1975, Turtle Beach is a US-based audio and peripherals company. Being the direct successor to the ROCCAT Burst Pro Air, the Turtle Beach Burst II Air comes with several improvements. Most notably, the weight is far lower at 46 g, which has been achieved without having to resort to holes in the shell, though the bottom isn't entirely solid. In order to meet this weight target, RGB lighting has been done away with. "Titan"-branded optical switches rated for 100 million clicks still see use for the main buttons, though these actually are from Kailh instead of TTC, and the sensor is PixArt's PAW3395 capable of 26,000 CPI. Turtle Beach cites up to 120 hours of battery life using Bluetooth, and 40 hours when using 2.4 GHz wireless at a polling rate of 1000 Hz. NVIDIA Reflex is supported, allowing one to measure click latency in real time on compatible monitors, and the feet are made of pure PTFE. The usual configuration options are present in Swarm II. The Burst II Air is available in either black or white.
