Packaging

As with most power stations, the Ugreen PowerRoam 1200 Power Station ships in a brown cardboard box, but also has its own retail packaging. While the same holds true for the solar panels, the retail pack is just a bit simpler.

The PowerRoam 1200 retail box sports a black backdrop and goes into all the features in a full color fashion. For those trying to dive into these types of products, there is a lot to discover and the Ugreen PowerRoam unit certainly has a lot of features to communicate.

A seal at the top will ensure that you can rest easy knowing it is a brand new unit. The device is embedded between foam pieces nice and snug, with a plastic blag ensuring that fingerprints and scratches won't make it onto the enclosure. Ugreen has designed the foam so that you may pull the nearly 25 lbs heavy unit out of the pack easily, which is a nice touch.

The package of each solar panel comes with a plastic handle, which is needed, as the 200 W units are quite heavy as well. Each of them are also secured with foam corner pieces and utilize a plastic bag as an additional protection layer as well.

The Ugreen PowerRoam 1200 Power Station comes with a stylish accessory box which also communicates how to activate the device and provides a QR code to easily download the companion app.

Inside there's the usual assortment of wiring to hook up solar and charge the device using an AC plug or 12/24 V car outlet. On top of that, there is DC to DC cable to utilize the outputs the unit offers. A simple but useful bag allows you to store all of these in one place and take them with you on the road. Lastly, there are several documents as well as a prominent mention of the fact that the PowerRoam 1200 comes with a 5 year warranty - well above what other well known competitors offer.

The solar panels each include a pair of cables to utilize them with two different connector types. This means even if you own a different power pack, you could use these to get a charge.
