Installation
Installing the drives in this case is a breeze. Just place the rails on either side, slide them into the case until they clip in and you are done. Ultra's first attempt at a screw-less installation system, which was used in the Ultra Grid, was quite bad. This one is simple and works perfectly. The only downside is the lack of rails for the floppy drive. It needs to be screwed in the old fashioned way.
To install the external drives, the front needs to be removed. Just pull gently on the bottom of the front and it will come off. Then slide the drives in and you are done.
The front covers come with clips and can be reused if you take out a drive at a later time. The plastic front is quite sturdy and makes a very good impression. Much better than the Ultra Aluminus - which had a silver sprayed-on front.
The hard drive installation is quite similar, just place the rails and slide it in - done. The mainboard installs the old fashioned way by placing spacers on the mainboard tray and screwing the board in. Ultra supplied a sufficient number of stand-offs to install full size ATX boards.
