VAXEE E1 Wireless Review

Packaging

Aside from the mouse, one finds a wireless dongle and USB Type-C to Type-A charging cable in the box.

Weight

My scale shows around 60 g (+/- 1 g), which is exactly in line with the weight cited by VAXEE. For comparison, the VAXEE Outset AX Wireless weighs 72 g, whereas the similarly sized and likewise solid-shell Razer DeathAdder V3 Hyperspeed weighs 53 g, and the slightly smaller, solid-shell ASUS ROG Keris II Ace weighs 54 g. A very good weight overall.

Cable

The E1 Wireless comes with a TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) charging cable (USB Type-C to Type-A). The anchor found on previous VAXEE releases has been done away with, although the slightly angled connector to reduce cable drag has been retained. In terms of flexibility, the cable is a decent bit stiffer than the previous one, and overall below average. Accordingly, playing while charging may feel restrictive. Its measured length is 2 m.

Feet

The feet on the E1 Wireless are white-dyed pure PTFE (Teflon) feet with slightly rounded edges. Glide is very good and thickness average. The ring around the sensor ensures CPI stay consistent upon applying vertical pressure.
