Heavy Photoshop use can result in a large number of disk accesses while the scratch file is processed. In this test, we measured the time it took Photoshop CC to open ten 50 megapixel images at the same time and, once done, process each image, one by one. The operations performed on each image were crop, move, auto levels, resize, and save for the web.

Adobe Premiere Pro Media Import

Importing large media files into Premiere Pro takes quite a while because the media cache is generated at this time, and audio waveforms are calculated for peak detection (conforming). In this test we measure the duration it takes to fully import forty Full HD clips (6.5 GB).
