The Asgard Pro looks quite understated. While Xigmatek is known for producing cases with various color accents for the Asgard family, the Pro is all black, a color that is clearly geared towards professional users, not gamers.

The front features rounded sides and uses metal mesh extensively. Xigmatek has refrained from putting their logo onto the case in a prominent fashion, but has, instead, incorporated a simply X extruding towards the bottom of the front. The rear with the PSU bay on the bottom and a 120 mm exhaust fan above the motherboard expansions slots looks pretty traditional by today's standards. While both side panels are completely flat, the main one comes with two spots for 120 or 140 mm fans.

Speaking of the front, most of the bottom portion is taken up by a large metal mesh panel with a built-in 3.5" bay. It is refreshing to see a case that still features such an expansion possibility. Above that are the three 5.25" slots, each filled with a metal mesh cover right out of the box.

In the rear, the bottom PSU bay comes with two sets of mounting holes, which allows you to install a power supply with the fan facing down or up. Above that are seven break-out covers for which Xigmatek only provides a single replacement cover. You will find the aforementioned 120 mm exhaust fan for pushing hot air out of the case at the top. Interestingly enough, the Asgard Pro also includes two holes for water-cooling tubes to be routed out through the rear of the case. While nice to see, this is something a 40 USD case probably doesn't need.

All the I/O has been placed towards the front edge's top. You will get the usual pair of audio connectivity, two USB 2.0, and a single USB 3.0 plug. Two additional air vents for 120 or 140 mm fans can be found in the rear of the top panel. These have the exact same shape as the vents on the side panel.
