Clocking in at a mere 69.90€ it manages to offer a complete set of features and still delivers a very good quality. Gone are the inadequate locking mechanisms or lack of cable management of the original Midgard. Replaced with proper thumb screws and plenty of space, the Midgard II is already is a great improvement over the original Midgard in every regard. To keep up with the times, Xigmatek has also included screw-less hard drive trays, an updated and working ODD locking mechanism along with a USB 3.0 plug.
But, to really make things pop, you will also find a HDD dock, the possibility to install a slimline drive in the very top of the chassis and even go for water cooling, resulting in a feature set usually found in cases 20 or 30 Euro more expensive. You really get your money's worth with the Xigmatek Midgard II - wrapped nicely in a timeless and straight forward design. Well done Xigmatek - well done!
