Battery Life and Power Consumption

Battery life testing is the test that takes the longest. I actually use the tested laptop in different usage scenarios, and wait for the battery to be depleted. That mark, for this test, was when the laptop hit 10% battery life left. I then charged the laptop back up to 100%, and averaged that charge time from each test into a usable metric. Charge time for the NEO 17 was 68.6 minutes, or just over an hour, a really decent number for a 99 Wh battery. This doesn't use the PSU at full power to charge, and also respects max charge cycles the battery has, as most laptops do these days. Its worth noting that having the battery charging did seem to increase the fan speed from time to time compared to normal plugged-in idle, but never to obscene levels. Test figures for the RTX 4090 version of the NEO 17 are above. We actually find that the NEO 17 (E23) has rather average battery life, and that's no surprise given the high-end components inside.
