Packaging

Aside from the mouse, one finds a charging cable (USB Type-A to Type-C), wireless extender, wireless dongle, additional back cover, magnetic screwdriver, sticker, quick start guide, and set of replacement feet inside the box.

The back cover can be used to adjust the hump curvature:

Unlike on the M42, the back cover doesn't attach magnetically and is screwed in with three screws at the bottom instead.

Weight

My scale shows around 70 g (+/- 1 g), which is slightly less than the weight cited by Xtrfy. This is actually 2 g less than what the wired M4 weighed on my scale. Accordingly, this weight can only be described as impressive, especially considering that no apparent compromises in terms of build quality have been made.

Another novelty introduced with the M4 Wireless is the ability to adjust the battery position. This can be done to possibly improve perceived weight balance. Shown above are the outermost possible positions. By default, the battery sits right in the middle.

Cable

The M4 Wireless comes with a paracord-like, braided charging cable (USB Type-A to Type-C). There is no anchor at the mouse-end of the cable, so the cable may come loose during use, though it is unlikely given how tight it sits. In terms of flexibility, it is roughly on par with the cable of the Xtrfy MZ1, which sits in the same league as the Glorious Model O/D/O-/D- charging cable. Accordingly, the M4 Wireless can be used as if it were a wired mouse with barely if any perceivable difference in terms of handling compared to an actually wired mouse. Its measured length is 1.85 m.

The charging cable also functions as an extension cable if used in conjunction with the wireless extender. The wireless extender can be used to keep the distance between dongle and mouse as short as possible. Since the mouse lacks a storage compartment for the dongle, the extender can also simply be used as something to attach the dongle to, which reduces the likelihood of the dongle being lost when traveling.

Feet

The feet on the M4 Wireless are white-dyed pure PTFE (Teflon) feet. They are of above average thickness and have slightly rounded edges. Glide is excellent. Small indents next to the feet make them easier to remove. While there is no sensor ring installed by default, one is included with the set of replacement feet in the box.
