The Zalman X3 has been around for a hot minute, but that does not make us less excited to review it. Released in early 2020, the X3 represents Zalman's approach of including some unique DNA to have their case stand out in the crowded case market. It is available in black or white, with the white variant our sample for this review.

Packaging

The Zalman X3 ships in a full-color cardboard box with two different images of the enclosure on the larger panels. On the sides, you will find a table of specifications and the feature list in multiple languages.


Foam spacers hold the Zalman X3 in place and protect it from the dangers of shipping. A clear plastic bag has been placed over the case to keep fingerprints and light scratches away.
