General Use & Functionality
When plugged in, a red LED lights up on the left, bottom corner, while the familiar green ring lights up once the ZBOX nano is turned on. You can turn the green ring of light off in the BIOS if it is a bit too much for you.
The Zotac ZBOX nano XS AD11 utilizes the standard AMD E-450 platform, but combines it with an SSD. Futuremark PCMark was used as a comparison to gauge its general performance. 3DMark was utilized to gauge its general graphical performance and to figure out whether the embedded AMD Radeon HD 6320 can be used in such a setting.

Power Consumption
As this system does offer a fairly common configuration of the Fusion platform, the power draw at standby, idle, gaming, and during movie playback should be close to that of other such units from other manufacturers. As you can see below, this holds true for the ZBOX nano XS AD11 in the end, but the unit manages to be slightly more efficient on some of the tests, which makes the ZBOX nano XS AD11 top our comparison-charts for lowest power consumption.
CPU Utilization
The ZBOX nano XS AD11 can easily play back 1080P movies. CPU utilization is on par with other E-450 based systems. This is to be expected since the GPU takes care of most of the work.
Temperatures
As you can see, the Zbox nano is pretty high up there in terms of reported temperatures. Even at these levels, the fan - while clearly audible - does not come across as annoying. All you hear is a clear "wooosh" from the unit, which the brain tends to ignore after a short amount of time.
