Introduction

ROCCAT seemingly sat idle while many new manufacturers released fantastic gaming mice in the last year or so. However, the German peripherals manufacturer was actually working on a new mouse, one that will be a serious competitor in the market. The Kain line has three right-handed ergonomic models—the cheaper Kain 100 and more premium Kain 120 AIMO models are equally great in their price regions, and there's an upcoming wireless model as well, the Kain 200. In this review, I will show you the Kain 120 AIMO featuring ROCCAT's Owl-Eye 16K sensor, fantastic buttons with a patented click-mechanism, and of course, the company's signature AIMO lighting. Thankfully, this time around, they took weight into consideration as well, which made for a lightweight, but very sturdy shell. All Kain mice come in two colors, matte black and matte white.
