Aqua Computer Announces Cuplex Kryos NEXT RGBpx Water Blocks

The German water cooling specialist Aqua Computer is expanding its range of CPU coolers. The newly developed cuplex kryos NEXT RGBpx series not only provides excellent cooling performance but also sets unique optical accents. This is achieved above all by the integrated lighting, which enables impressive effects thanks to the 11 individually addressable RGBpx LEDs.

The lighting is housed in an elegant CNC milled, blasted and anodized aluminium frame. The threads for mounting the cooler are also located in this frame, whereby the force is evenly distributed onto the housing, thus minimizing stress onto it. Of course, the aluminium has no contact with the coolant. The Plexiglas housing is also manufactured in a complex CNC processing. During the construction, great attention was paid to long-term stability and, for example, the material was designed with large rest-thicknesses.

JONSBO today introduced the CR-1000 Plus premium CPU air cooler. It features a aluminium fin-stack tower-type design with push-pull ventilation. The heatsink design involves four 6 mm-thick copper heat pipes making direct contact with the CPU at the base, conveying heat to the aluminium fin-stack, which is then ventilated by a pair of 120 mm fans in push-pull arrangement. The fin-stack is capped off by a steel top-plate that has heatsink-like ridges, and an addressable RGB LED ornament.

The two included 120 mm fans each take in 4-pin PWM input for their primary function, spin between 700 to 1,500 RPM, with air-flow ranging between 26.1 to 57.35 CFM, and noise output proportionately ranging between 20.55 to 31.2 dBA. The fans feature addressable RGB LEDs in the fan impeller hub. Measuring 128 mm x 101 mm x 158 mm (LxWxH), the CR-1000 Plus weighs 745 g (including fans). The company didn't put out performance figures. Among the CPU socket types supported are LGA1200, LGA115x, and AM4. The company didn't reveal pricing.

JONSBO Expands Angeleyes TW2 Pro Line of AIO CPU Coolers

JONSBO today rolled out new variants in the Angeleyes TW2 Pro line of all-in-one liquid CPU coolers. The series debuted with its top 360 mm variant in April 2019, which is now joined by smaller 240 mm x 120 mm; and 120 mm x 120 mm variants, the Angeleyes TW2-240 Pro and Angeleyes TW2-120 Pro. It features a cylindrical pump-block with an acrylic top that's studded with addressable RGB LED embellishments. The RGB bling also extends to the included fans, which feature acrylic diffusers along the bore of the frames, with 18 diodes per fan. These fans take in 4-pin PWM input, spin between 800 and 1,600 RPM, each pushing up to 42.8 CFM of airflow, with a noise output of 26 dBA at max speed. These coolers support mainstream sockets, namely the LGA115x (including upcoming LGA1200), and AM4. The company didn't reveal pricing.

Cooler Master Outs Hyper 212 ARGB Turbo CPU Cooler

Cooler Master rolled out an updated version of its Hyper 212 Turbo dual-fan tower-type CPU air cooler, the Hyper 212 ARGB Turbo. This cooler is almost identical to the Hyper 212 RGB Turbo and the LED Turbo; except that it packs a pair of Sickleflow 120 ARGB fans with an updated addressable RGB LED setup. The cooler includes an ARGB controller module to which you plug in the 3-pin ARGB cables of both fans, which then lets you cycle between a presets, pulling power from a SATA power connection; although you can directly plug in the fans to any 3-pin ARGB headers.

The heatsink at the heart of the Hyper 212 ARGB Turbo is standard CM 212 issue - an aluminium fin-stack tower with four 6 mm-thick copper heat pipes that make direct contact with the CPU at the base. The "Turbo" moniker is from the fact that two 120 mm fans are included in the package, which ventilate the heatsink in a push-pull arrangement. Each of the two Sickleflow 120 ARGB spinners does 650 - 1800 RPM, pushing 61 CFM of air at top speed, with a noise output of 27 dBA (max). With its fans in place, the cooler measures 120 mm x 109 mm x 155 mm (WxDxH). Among the CPU socket types supported are LGA2066, LGA1200, LGA115x, and AM4. We expect this cooler to be priced around $50.

Update May 7th: Cooler Master confirmed to us that this cooler will initially only be released in the Asia-Pacific region, before making it to Europe, while not being sold in North America.

SilentiumPC Announces Four Spartan 4 Series CPU Coolers

The European manufacturer of CPU coolers, power supplies and PC cases, SilentiumPC, is launching four new models of the Spartan in the fourth version. The Spartan series enjoys great popularity in the entry-level segment, where the price-performance ratio is particularly important. The Spartan 3 has already positioned itself as a cost-effective alternative to the boxed cooler. From now on, the new Spartan 4 and Spartan 4 MAX models will follow in its footsteps, offering great versatility. The compact and lightweight Spartan 4 as well as Spartan 4 EVO ARGB CPU coolers rely on two copper heatpipes, a 100 mm fan and an aluminium heatsink for an optimal price-performance ratio. In contrast, both the Spartan 4 MAX and the Spartan 4 MAX EVO ARGB versions are equipped with three copper heatpipes, a larger aluminium heatsink and a 120 mm axial fan.

This makes the new Spartan 4 models ideal for ambitious PC build projects with a limited budget and as an upgrade for existing PCs with boxed coolers that are to be upgraded with more power at a lower noise level.

MSI Unveils MPG Z490 Gaming Pro Carbon EK X Motherboard

MSI unveiled a premium variant of its MPG Z490 Gaming Pro Carbon motherboard with a factory-fitted monoblock, the MPG Z490 Gaming Pro Carbon EK X. As its name suggests, the monoblock is supplied by EK Water Blocks. It uses nickel-plated copper as its primary material, and has a clear acrylic top with some faux carbon-fiber embellishments. The block is studded with addressable RGB LEDs that plug into one of the motherboard's 3-pin ARGB headers.

The monoblock uses a micro fin lattice over the CPU socket, and has its main coolant channel pass through not just the CPU, but also the CPU VRM area. There's some prominent "Carbon EK X" branding over another strip of faux carbon-fiber at the PCH heatsink. The rest of the board's design and feature-set are identical to the original MPG Z490 Gaming Pro Carbon. The company didn't reveal pricing, although an EK Quantum series monoblock like the one featured here should add at least $140 to the original board's price.

It also presents the cheapest route to a water-cooled RTX 2070 Super, when paired with a compatible water block. Bitspower released just that. The Lotan VGA Block variant bearing model number "BP-VG2070SATEVO" is purpose-built for the Turbo EVO RTX 2070 Super card by ASUS.

The pseudo full-coverage block is slightly over two slots thick, measuring 232 mm x124 mm x 28 mm. It uses nickel-plated copper as its primary material, with a clear acrylic top that extends to the length of the card. The top is studded with addressable RGB LEDs, which take in standard 3-pin ARGB input. The block features four G1/4" threads. Available now, the Lotan BP-VG2070SATEVO is priced at USD $154.

Corsair's White Hydro X Series XC7 RGB Water Block Now Available

Corsair started selling the White edition variant of its XC7 RGB CPU water-block. The XC7 launched with its standard black variant, which we reviewed recently. The white variant (model: CX-9010005-WW) is now available from Corsair's website in the US, for USD $74.99. The block sees nickel-plated copper with a mirror-finish, as its primary material. It features a clear acrylic top that has an outer pearl-white accent. The top is studded with addressable RGB LEDs that take in a standard 3-pin input, and compatible with Corsair's iCue software. The block features standard G1/4" fittings, and supports mainstream desktop CPU sockets, namely the LGA115x, upcoming LGA1200, and AMD socket AM4.

Bitspower today rolled out the Touchaqua Sedna H510i for NZXT H510 series cases, in what is the latest liquid cooling trend: flat RGB LED-illuminated reservoirs and distribution plates replacing cylindrical reservoirs. The Touchaqua Sedna is a reservoir+pump combo device with mounts designed for specific PC cases. This one aligns with the NZXT H510 series. The reservoir is made of gasketed acrylic plates. A number of addressable RGB LEDs are embedded in the reservoir, which take in standard 3-pin ARGB input. The device measures 320 mm x 115 mm x 50.8 mm (LxWxH). Available now on the Bitspower online store, the Touchaqua Sedna H510i is priced at roughly USD $160.

Abkoncore Rolls Out T404B Hurricane CPU Cooler

Abkoncore today rolled out the T404B Hurricane tower type CPU air cooler under its Cool Storm sub-brand. Its design involves a conventional tower-type aluminium fin-stack heatsink that's ventilated by two 120 mm fans in push-pull configuration. With this, the company is claiming a thermal capacity of up to 170 W TDP, and includes support for LGA2066, LGA115x, and AM4 sockets.

The heatsink design involves a base at which four 6 mm-thick copper heat pipes make direct contact with the CPU, conveying heat through the fin-stack, which is then ventilated by the fans. Each of the two 120 mm fans takes in 4-pin PWM for their main function, spin between 800 to 1,800 RPM, pushing a little over 50 CFM of air with maximum noise output of 33 dBA. The fans feature addressable RGB lighting, and take in 3-pin ARGB input. Measuring 128 mm x 107 mm x 157 mm (WxDxH), it weighs 1 kg. SilentiumPC Unveils Fortis 3 EVO ARGB CPU Cooler

SilentiumPC rolled out several variants of its best-selling Fortis 3 tower-type CPU cooler since its 2015 debut, including a design refresh as the Fortis 3 v2, and its RGB variant late last year, which came with older standard RGB. Its latest iteration is the Fortis 3 EVO ARGB. The business end of the cooler, its large tower-type heatsink, is unchanged from the older variants. All that's really changed with the EVO ARGB is the fan.

The included Pulsar HP ARGB 140 mm fan features translucent white plastic making up not just the impeller, but also the frame. This allows bright addressable RGB LEDs embedded in the hub to project light not just through the fan blades, but also the frame. SilentiumPC has also re-tuned the motor to feature a speed range of 200 to 1,400 RPM (compared to 500 to 1,400 RPM on older models of Fortis 3). It also comes with a newer hydraulic bearing that enables a 50,000-hour service life. The fan takes in 4-pin PWM for its primary function, and 3-pin ARGB for the lighting. A "Nano Reset" ARGB LED controller comes included with the cooler, as does a 5 W/mK thermal compound. CPU socket compatibility hasn't changed: LGA2066, LGA115x, and AM4. Its price in Europe is 42.90€ (including VAT).

Kolink Announces the Balance ARGB Mid-tower Chassis

In Win Intros SR24 AIO CPU Cooler with Twin Turbine Pump

In Win today rolled out the SR24, an all-in-one liquid CPU cooler featuring a patented "twin turbine pump" feature. These are basically two pump turbines attached on both ends of the DC motor's shaft, which in turn are located on either ends of the CPU block. One of the turbine pushes coolant into the block, while the other pulls heated coolant from it. In Win claims that even if one of the two fails over time, the other will provide sufficient coolant pressure to cool your CPU, while a warning LED lights up. With both turbines operational, the SR24 offers double the coolant pressure, and a markedly superior P-Q curve. The pump block is capped off with an RGB illuminated In Win logo.

The innovative pump-block of the In Win SR24 is tubed to a 240 mm x 120 mm aluminium radiator. Ventilating it are a pair of included In Win Jupiter 120 mm fans that each spin at speeds of 500 to 2,500 RPM, with up to 101.5 CFM of air-flow, and as low as 23 dBA of noise output. The fans feature double ball bearings and feature addressable RGB LEDs in their hubs. A single 3-pin ARGB connection handles lighting for the two fans and the pump-block. The company didn't mention thermal load numbers, but among the CPU socket types supported are TR4, sTRX4, LGA2066, AM4, and LGA115x. The company didn't reveal pricing.

ZALMAN Rolls Out CNPS16X CPU Cooler and New Thermal Pastes

ZALMAN today announced market availability of its new CNPS16X tower-type CPU cooler and three new STC-series thermal compounds. The CNPS16X features an aluminium fin-stack tower-type heatsink that's ventilated by a pair of 120 mm fans in push-pull configuration, held together by an ABS shroud. The top-plate of this shroud features an addressable RGB embellishment with the ZALMAN logo at the center. Besides this, both fans feature ARGB diffusers along the bore of their frames. ZALMAN has two color variants of the CNPS16X depending on the color of the shroud - black and white. Splitter cables are included so the ARGB connections of both fans and the shroud are combined to a single 3-pin connection.

The design of the CNPS16X involves a direct-touch heatpipe base, from which four 6 mm-thick nickel-plated copper heat pipes pull heat, spreading it through the aluminium fin-stack. This stack features wave-shaped fins that make hexagonal patterns when viewed from the side. This design helps with increasing turbulence and heat-dissipation to the air-flow. Each of the two included 120 mm fans takes in 4-pin PWM, spins up to 1,500 RPM, together pushing around 75-90 m³h of air, with 25-29 dBA of noise output. ZALMAN rates the thermal capacity of this cooler at 150 W. Among the CPU socket types supported are AM4, LGA115x, and LGA2066. The CNPS16X is priced at 59.90€ (including taxes).

The European manufacturer of CPU coolers and PC cases, SilentiumPC, presents the successor of its popular Armis AR5 case series. The new Armis AR6 lineup is aimed at gamers looking for a PC case with maximum versatility and stylish design combined with outstanding value for money. SilentiumPC has developed three different versions of the case for this purpose, which are identical in terms of their internal construction, but differ in their exterior and (A)RGB lighting. All models are designed for excellent internal ventilation and implement the new Natissis internal structure with dual-chamber layout. One of the emerging trends with tempered glass front faces is the option to have a metal mesh front panel that serves as an airy intake, as more PC builders opt to install radiators there. The MATREXX 55 Mesh 4F from DeepCool follows this trend, and loses the prominent tempered glass front facade to a black mesh intake over the three 120 mm fan mounts. The rest of its design is identical to that of the original. A tinted tempered glass panel continues to dominate the left side. Behind it is a conventional horizontally-partitioned layout. The bottom compartment has room for two 3.5-inch drive bays, Two additional 2.5-inch drives can be mounted along the motherboard tray, which has room for graphics cards up to 37 cm in length, and CPU coolers up to 16.8 cm in height. DeepCool is including four 120 mm fans that have addressable RGB LED illumination; three of which are factory-fitted along the front intakes, and one at the rear exhaust. The company didn't reveal pricing.
