SAPPHIRE Announces NITRO+ S360-A and S240-A All-in-One Liquid CPU Coolers

Sapphire today entered the CPU cooling components market with the NITRO+ line of all-in-one, closed-loop, liquid CPU coolers. The series debuts with two variants based on radiator size, S360-A and S240-A (360 mm x 120 mm and 240 mm x 120 mm, respectively). The cooler uses 7th Gen Asetek pump-block technology, which integrates a thermal sensor within the pump-block, and onboard logic that accordingly adjusts pump speed. The block is studded with addressable RGB lighting, a 3D structure resembling a roll-cage, and a brushed aluminium accent.

The second Sapphire innovation with these coolers is the included set of fans for the aluminium radiator. Inspired from the fans found in Sapphire's NITRO+ series graphics cards, these double ball-bearing fans feature impellers with 13 densely packed blades that are webbed off at the edges, to guide all their airflow axially. ARGB LEDs are studded in the impeller hubs. The pump turns at speeds ranging between 800 to 2,800 RPM, while the fans turn between 450 to 2,500 RPM. Among the CPU socket types supported are LGA1700, AM4, and LGA1200. The company didn't reveal pricing.

XFX Launches Radeon RX 6900 XT Speedster ZERO WB Graphics Card

XFX formally launched the Radeon RX 6900 XT Speedster ZERO WB, a graphics card it teased last month. The company's new flagship product, the Speedster ZERO WB is a graphics card with a factory-fitted full-coverage water-block, for those with DIY liquid-cooling setups. It appears to be based on an all new PCB with a more tuned-up 14+2 phase VRM setup than that of the air-cooled RX 6900 XT Speedster MERC 319, which pulls power from a trio of 8-pin PCIe power connectors.

Under the hood is a 7 nm "Navi 21" XTXH silicon, which is able to sustain 10% higher engine clocks than the standard "Navi 21," and XFX claims that it has unlocked overdrive slider limit (the de facto maximum overclock), beyond 3 GHz. Out of the box, the card comes with a maximum boost frequency of 2525 MHz, compared to 2250 MHz AMD-reference. The water block came about from a collaboration with EK Water Blocks, and combines a nickel-plated copper primary material with a slightly frosted acrylic top that's studded with addressable RGB LEDs. XFX didn't reveal pricing.

GIGABYTE's 2021 AORUS Gaming Box eGPU Packs RTX 3080 Ti, Liquid Cooling

The 2021 GIGABYTE AORUS Gaming Box external GPU was debuted late last week. It introduces many firsts for a market less addressed this generation, particularly due to the GPU shortage. The lineup debuts with a model based on NVIDIA's flagship GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, and introduces a liquid-cooling. The box uses an all-in-one, closed-loop liquid cooler to tame the RTX 3080 Ti, using a 240 mm x 120 mm radiator and a pair of 120 mm fans located inside the box, while additional fans ventilate the rest of its innards.

For all its might, the card is bound to be bottlenecked by its interface—a single 40 Gbps Thunderbolt 3 connection that gives the GPU the equivalent of a PCI-Express 3.0 x4 interface. Our RTX 3080 non-Ti PCI Express Scaling article shows that the GPU loses 12% performance on PCI-Express 1.1 x16 (comparable bandwidth to PCIe 3.0 x4). Other features of the AORUS Gaming Box include a USB 3.0 hub, and addressable RGB lighting that you can control using the RGB Fusion software. The company didn't reveal pricing or availability, but one can expect a roughly $300-400 markup over whatever the running rate of an RTX 3080 Ti these days, is. GIGABYTE is expected to carve out more Gaming Box products based on the same chassis, but using different GPUs.

White Nylon-sleeved tubing connects this to a 240 mm x 120 mm radiator that's completely white, including the fins.

Each of the two included 120 mm fans features a white frame with pink impeller, with addressable RGB LED diffusers along the bore of the frame. The fans turn at speeds ranging between 900 to 2,000 RPM, pushing up to 55.2 CFM of airflow, with up to 2.13 mm H₂O static pressure. Among the CPU socket types supported include AM4, LGA1200, LGA115x, and LGA2066. The company didn't reveal pricing.

Sharkoon Unveils TG6M RGB Case

Sharkoon Technologies is an international supplier of high-performance quality PC components and peripherals. With the TG6M RGB, Sharkoon now presents a variation of its popular TG6 RGB ATX case. With this latest addition to the "TG" PC case series, particular importance has been given to a strong airflow, and the tempered glass of the front panel has been thus replaced by an air-permeable mesh grille. And this time, the fans have circularly arranged LEDs, bringing the case closer to the traditional look of previous models.

Thanks to the front panel with the mesh grille, the TG6M RGB aims to ensure a continuously optimal temperature, even when the system is in full operation. Behind the front panel, three 120-millimeter addressable RGB LED fans with rubberized contact points are pre-installed, with no visible screws and in a modular framework. A fourth fan of the same type ensures that the heated air is removed through the back of the case. As an option, three additional 120-millimeter or two 140-millimeter fans can be installed in the top of the case, which is protected by a dust filter. Additional dust filters in the front and in the underside of the case should provide additional protection against dust and dirt.
