Roccat Prepares Kova Pure Performance Gaming Mouse

Roccat is preparing its second gaming-grade mouse, the Kova. The company made its debut in the field with the Roccat Kone. Slated for market availability next month, Roccat Kova features a chiseled ambidextrous design. It has a maximum unit length of 12 cm, and maximum unit width of 6.5 cm, and weighs 90 g (excl. cable). The USB cable measures 2 m long. Apart from the main three buttons and the scroll-wheel, the mouse has two programmable buttons on either sides. The sides have GRIPTECH non-slip stabilization surfaces for better grip, and the scroll-wheel has a rubberized surface. It has a multi-color (configurable) illumination system which also provides feedback if mouse settings are changed. Under the hood is a 3200 dpi optical sensor. The Roccat Kova is expected to be priced around the 50 EUR mark.

nice!

Finally a decent gaming mouse with an ambidextrous design! I do regular tasks right handed but I game left handed. Now it all depends on the size and weight of this mouse for me. It's kinda on the pricey side, but my search might be over.......can't wait for some reviews.:)

I've got the Kone, and I'm getting some other gear from them very soon (headphones, keyboard, cable management system, mousepad), maybe I'll "upgrade" the Kone with this :)

The mouse looks fantastic, however the two buttons on the side seem pretty far towards towards the back of the mouse... they should be further at the front imho. I use those buttons a lot on a mouse, so they're somewhat crucial.

I like that you can change the colors of the mouse, I would make it an orange led to match my case:p

I dont see how it looks like a G9 at all. A G9 looks like a left handed mouse made for right handed people :wtf: This thing looks like anybody can use it and its pretty straight forward.

Their stuff is REALLY amazing :) A little on the pricey side (for me atleast), but after my experience with THE KONE, I'm sure to grab the other stuff. Gonna make me a ROCCAT game pack ^^

Not only that, it's the only worthwhile gaming keyboard I've found that is sold in so many different layouts! And it has as many keys as you will ever need (especially for me, being a MMO player), couple her with the Belkin n52te... you got yourself a kick-ass combo.

Im more interested in the LCD carrying bag. Ive never seen one thats able to accomodate a full sized 24" and have room for a keyboard. And the funky looking mouse cable h older thingy looks nice too. (Some other things look like a Razer rip off)

Ehm..

If I were you, I would wait a bit. Sure, Roccat VALO seems nice, but early reviews said something about few technical glitches.. and one of my favorite German shops even don´t want to sell them cause of technical problems. Otherwise they sell pretty much everything from Roccat.

I have Kone v1.. its near-perfect mouse, but just "near".. aswell has few technical glitches, which I believe, were fixed in v2.. tough.. Roccat didn´t offered anything to v1 users.. even if they were aware of problems and cause of them created v2.

I like that mouse tough, but.. I would probably never buy something from them again.. Their attitude towards smaller review webs wasn´t exactly something I would like..
