Core 2 Duo for the desktop is the conroe.
Glad to see though they stopped using Marvell controllers...
Also, noticed they stripped RAID10 from the ICH7R's capability list? ;-)

Will it perform better then 965 chipset?
I doubt it will use heatpipes, Asus only uses heatpipes on the nforce chipsets in general because Nvidia chipsets run extremely hot compared to the INtel and ati chipsets.
