AMD Introduces Catalyst 10.12 and 10.12 Preview Featuring Redesigned Control Center
AMD today released its latest version of the AMD Catalyst software suite, Catalyst 10.2 WHQL, as well as unveiled a Catalyst 10.2 Preview driver that lets you use the latest version Catalyst Control Center (CCC) that features a more functional user interface. The new CCC features a reworked UI that allows easier adjustment of 3D settings and image quality; makes setting up multiple displays easier; and helps adjust power settings to optimize battery life (on notebooks).
Apart from that, Catalyst 10.2 introduces DivX Accelerated support for AMD Radeon HD 6800 series GPUs; support for OpenGL 4.1, including new ARB extensions introduced with OpenGL 4.1; and an updated AMD Stream v2.3 API.

Update:
Okay these drivers suck
What matters, is performance improvement on games.. of which I can't see any?
trees are totally fecked up (this is slightly zoomed in btw, so everything looks worse than it should - look at the leaves, half of them arent there)
annoyingly, they arent even showing an option to install the AHCI/RAID drivers either >.<
It seems the only viable upgrade for me now is 10.10e. Damnit... :shadedshu
Oh and ***k the new interface, and the old interface. AMD/ATI couldn't make an interface even if it only needed one button. (Sorry but I had to say it. It took me 15 minutes to figure out how to change the overscan settings the first time...)
from catalyst 10.10 to 10.10e hotfix to this one... no improvements, the mouse pointer garbage has gone but replaced with crash when exiting the game. the nba2k11 still has no solution to artifacts displaying during the game. disappointed. :banghead:
core i5 760
win7 64-bit
catalyst 10.12
xfx radeon hd6850 1gb
This is for the first time in several years straight that i haven't updated 2 new versions of Catalyst. I always kept it up to date the very minute it was released. Now i'm lagging behind for 2 versions just because of the lack of MLAA support for HD5800 series out of the box.
10.10e - pylon rangefinders dont render for protoss in SCII
10.11 - pylons are fine, but mouse cursor corruption is random (SCII again)
10.12 (new and old CCC) trees and grass are borked in fallout: new vegas
these are all on a 5870
no crash right now...
catalyst 10.12 + ccc2 on HD3850
Of curse, I had perfect graphics quality with previous driver (9.12)
