SuperTalent Unveils SandForce SF-2000 Driven TeraDrive SSDs

Super Talent displayed its first consumer SSDs based on SandForce SF-2000 series controllers. To be branded under the TeraDrive FT3 and TeraDrive CT3 series, SuperTalent's new SSDs will be available in a wide range of capacities starting from 50 GB, all the way up to 480 GB. Built in the 2.5-inch form-factor, the drives use SATA 6 Gb/s interface to support read/write speeds of over 500 MB/s, and "impressively fast random read/write speeds".

Completely Bonkers
Looks like February will see a bump up in performance and a bump down in price of regular SSDs :)

Sweet. Looks like these could be *a tad* cheaper than the ones out already.

I hope so, but the selling prices are at their discretion, depending on how much demand is for these new SF-2000 SSDs. I myself will definitely be getting the new gen SF SSDs, but which one is the question.
Maybe in the future the manufacturing process will get a bit smaller and in turn lower manufacturing costs and hopefully they will extend those savings onto the consumer.

That would certainly be nice - would you happen to have any links that discuss pricing or dates?
