Green House Intros Capacious PicoDrive Dual Pro Series USB 2.0 Flash Drives

Japanese company Green-House introduced a new line of capacious, moderately-fast USB 2.0 flash drives under the PicoDrive Dual Pro series. Available in capacities of 8 GB, 16 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB; the drives offer transfer speeds of 30 MB/s read and 24 MB/s write. Measuring 61 x 20 x 5.9 mm (W x D x H), the drives weigh around 9 grams. Backed by a 1 year warranty, the 8, 16, 32, and 64 gigabyte variants are priced at ¥3,280 (US $40), ¥5,479 ($67), ¥9,980 ($122), and ¥19,800 ($242), respectively.

I don't get it. Why USB 2.0, and why these high prices? I'll just grab a USB 3.0 drive for these prices.
