Scythe Announces New Card Reader Kama Reader Jr

The Japanese manufacturer Scythe Co. Ltd. expands its portfolio of PC accessories with a card reader called Kama Reader Jr. The Kama Reader Jr. is a compact multi-format card reader which can be installed into a 8.89 cm (3.5 inch) drive bay. It is suitable for quick reading and writing of virtually any memory card on the market. Kama Reader Jr. is also equipped with a front USB port. Kama Reader Jr. is now available for a MSRP of 7,50 € (excluding VAT / Tax).

All card readers I've used had caused issues. Doubt I'll ever use one, especially when they're that ugly and cheap lookin'.

there are lots of them on the market just with the same design.
i think in this case you get warranty and stuff like that as a plus

I have a card reader sitting in my junk pile, their ugly and unless ur camera or whatever doesnt have a usb cord, their also useless

it just seems bland, the el cheapo one i got for $15 locally has E-sata, firewire, and front audio jacks on top of what this one does.

that's why i did that mean post, i meant that the price comes from scythe instead of the hardware you buy as it is indeed cheap oem stuff

i just wonder why they used their name for that? desperate?

looks nice but it looks generic, i have the same model but it just generic thing for about 4$. but its kinda nice solution when you wanna use your mem card, i hope it support usb 3.0, firewirecor any newer port
