Antec Intros New Basiq Power 450W and 350W Models

Antec released two new models of its entry-level Basiq Power PSU series, the VP450 and VP350, which deliver 450W and 350W of continuous power, respectively. The Basiq Power forms Antec's brand of PSUs that provide quality and standards-compliant power-delivery without cheaping out on components. The PSUs provide essential power connectors, including one or more PCI-E power. Its safety net includes over current protection, over voltage protection, short circuit protection and over power protection. The units use 120 mm fans to keep cool. The Antec VP450 and VP350 are priced at US $48.95 and $44.95, respectively.

About time they update these from the gray primer paint job, but the price should have stayed the same.

I'd like to know the OEM, and whether or not these are as good as claimed. Antec is very hit or miss with their psus sometimes. I'd like to see a Jonny Guru style review of one.
