BenQ Announces the VW2230H and VW2430H VA Monitors

BenQ has this week introduced a couple of new, shiny widescreen monitors, the 21.5-inch VW2230H and the 24-inch VW2430H. Both models feature an asymmetrical design, a white coating, a mobile phone holder (that little green thing), and make use of LED backlighting and a VA panel.

BenQ's displays have a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a 4 ms (GtG) response time, a 5,000:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness, D-Sub, DVI and HDMI connectors, and come with the Senseye 3 Human Vision Technology offering seven pre-set viewing modes - Standard, Movie, Game, Photo, sRGB, Reading, and Eco.

The VW2230H and VW2430H will become available early next month priced at 169 Euro and 219 Euro, respectively.

BigMack701080p = fail

No thanks
No longer just for 27" threads.
And what an odd looking green appendage. Hopefully that thing actually works out well for holding phones.

1920x1200 is what these should be, not 1080p, that was my point. My whine about smaller monitors like these is aspect ratio, my whine about 27" monitors is pixel count.
