Xigmatek Releases the PRAETON LD963 CPU Cooler

Xigmatek has just rolled out a new CPU cooler, a low profile model dubbed PRAETON LD963 that can handle Intel (LGA 1366/1156/1155/775) or AMD (FM1/FM2/AM2/AM2+/AM3/AM3+) processors with a TDP of up to 115 W. Seen below, Xigmatek's creation measures 104 (W) x 93 (D) x 44 (H) mm, and has three 6 mm heatpipes using H.D.T. (Heat-pipes Direct Touch) technology, aluminum alloy fins, and a 90 mm Hydraumatic bearing fan operating at 1200 to 2800 RPM (maximum sound output if 22 dBA).

The PRAETON LD963 is selling for £49.58 (~ $ 79.59 / €61.54).

Update: Xigmatek informed us, that the price is wrong. The cooler will sell for roughly 20 Euro including taxes

"Xigmatek has just rolled out a new CPU cooler". They can roll it right back from where it came for 80$, that is about double of what its worth. What a shame

Liquid Cool
Paid $25 from Newegg for the original version...which looks to me to be almost identical to this version. This cooler works better with a scythe 100x12mm 1000RPM fan. I've tossed more xigmatek fans in the trash than I care to count. Tick Tick Tick...

Best,

Price seem quite high given it's very limited cooling ability.

I don't understand the price either. To me, Xigmatek has been known for providing good looking, good performing coolers at a good price. This is a bad turn of strategy for them.
