NZXT Announces Grid Internal Fan Hub

When it comes down to balancing functionality and appearance, there is always one thing the NZXT design team has on its mind: cable management. With the inclusion of an integrated fan hub, the Switch 810 and the Phantom 630 chassis raised the bar for an entire industry in terms of cable management capabilities.

Now, NZXT is proud to bring its versatile fan hub to the mass market with a streamlined, sleek design fit for any case. Introducing the NZXT Grid- a modern, hassle-free solution for managing all of your case fan wiring. With its fully enclosed, low-profile design, the NZXT Grid lets you install up to ten fans in any location, keeping your motherboard and your build free from any unsightly fan cables.
In addition to the fan hub, the NZXT Grid also includes one 200mm Molex to 3-pin power adapter, one 200mm 3-pin female to female adapter and two 200mm 3-pin male to female extensions. With a matte-black finish, white LED indicator lights and matching fan extension cables, the NZXT Grid ensures the inside of your case looks just as good as the outside.

Available soon with an MSRP of $11.99, the NZXT Grid is a cost-effective solution that allows you to maximize the airflow in your case without compromising cable management.

Each GRID Package Includes:
  • 1x Fan Hub
  • 1x 200mm Molex to 3-pin power adapter
  • 1x 200mm 3-pin female to female adapter
  • 2x 200mm cable extensions
  • 5x Black zip-ties

IMO NZXT should bring out a version with digital fan control that can be plugged into the motherboard via USB and used to control fan speeds similar to Corsair Link but without the high cost.

right, don't see much use for this with no fan speed or monitoring to be used here . I would want fans readable and adjustable . I could see some fans being grouped as far as adjusting rpm but thats it .

I thought that's what this was until I read the entire story. I agree with you that someone needs to do this too.

High costs are ok in my book, but the software for the corsair solutions leaves a lot to desired

I sort of like this as it is. Some boards have few ports on board, and using y-cables for everything makes a clutter. This could be very nice.

Yes, if you had old MB or even OEM ones that may not have many but newer enthusiast type MB have many .

My Asus P8Z77 V-pro has 6 fan headers but headers are also limited to like 2 fans as current can only handle so much (generally about 2 normal size fans )
