Anyway..... That 3rd picture there makes the GPU look to be soldered in.... no MXM module might make this a tough sale for me..... I like the idea behind the user upgrade-able laptops. Kinda one of the good selling points of the Clevos and their various rebrands (Sager, XoticPC, Eurocom, Mythlogic, AVADirect, etc). That CPU looks to be BGA too, can't really see a socket. Nice to have options on the CPU but if it is soldered in and made permanent... geeze..
lol funny how they put 4930mx into this machine, maybe an I5 or lower end I7 would work.
by the look of this heatsink single copper pipe at best its only 25-35 watt heatsink. 4930mx itself is 57watt TDP it'll overheat under load even without turbo boost LOL. this is a joke.. sounds like something Eurocom would do.
You'll probably find a better deal, but unfortunately the A10 severely bottlenecks the performance of the 7970M (or 8970M depending on the model), but that's a nice laptop for a low price if Richland is your thing.
I am actually going to be purchasing this one in a week or two. And I wouldn't have chosen it if it had AMD cpu. To be honest, AMD mobile cpu just cannot complete with Intel mobile at the moment.
