Maxon Cinebench R15 Posted

Maxon posted Cinebench R15, the latest version of its CPU and GPU benchmark, popularized by its multi-threaded CPU tests. Available exclusively for 64-bit systems running Windows and OS X, Cinebench R15 features an upgraded renderer based on the company's Cinema 4D software, new test scenes, and a new scoring system. The CPU test utilizes up to 256 logical CPUs to render a 3D scene with approximately 2,000 objects, and over 300,000 polygons, with photo-realistic blurred reflections, area lights, shadows, procedural shaders, and antialiasing.

AMD CPUs perform more worse in R15 than in R11.5.

relative to intel or?

Cinebench has always used the intel compiler... btw.
However, that didn't stop me from taking the WR with an amd box for 11.5.

Edit: Whaaa its the same damn picture as 11.5... I am a touch tired of seeing that thing render.
Quite a bit quicker than the last one... they must have added avx support or something.

I do not think so....I tested it and only Haswell is scaling very well, Ivy is "much" worse. Thuban is clock to clock worse than FX here (in R11.5 not).

Haswell is scaling very well here (better than Ivy and Sandy improvement).

The difference between 4.5 GHz FX and HSW in R11.5 (in percentage) is higher than here

725 vs 822 R15, 7.65 vs 9.9points

R15=FX has 88% of performance Haswell, R11.5= FX has 77% of performance Haswell

PS:there was thread from Maxon Studio custom render scene and FX Vishera won clock to clock against Ivy Bridge i7.
