Cooler Master Announces the Glacer 240L CPU Liquid Cooler
Cooler Master, an industry leader in the design and manufacturing of premium PC components has today introduced the ultimate semi-DIY CPU liquid cooler, Glacer 240L. This modular and expandable semi-DIY liquid cooling system offers the utmost in performance and convenience.
Glacer 240L was proudly designed in the United States and produced as a partnership with some of the best minds behind liquid cooling: Swiftech. This liquid cooling expertise brought together over a decade of experience and added to the deep well of knowledge contained within Cooler Master's engineering team. The result is an exclusive product with specifications designed for high performance cooling. Glacer 240L sets itself apart from a market saturated by static AIO liquid cooling solutions by being fully capable of supporting additional liquid cooled components while maintaining superior DIY expandability.Expandable All-In-One
Users receive a fully sealed and pressure tested Glacer 240L liquid cooling system that, when used as an AIO solution out of the box, does not require maintenance for three years. Similarities between Glacer and other competitive solutions end here. Glacer 240L is also intelligently designed to become a DIY system setup when upgrades to the loop are desired. It features enthusiast grade 5/8" OD black PVC tubing secured by swivel fittings with an elegant clamping system for simple removal and reinstallation.
High Performance Ceiling
To meet the ever growing cooling needs of enthusiasts, Cooler Master worked with Swiftech to maximize pump output with speeds up to 3500 RPM. This provides a leading 165L/hr flow rate and 2650 mm H2O; making it able to easily handle the addition of multiple cooling components into the loop. Glacer PWM compliance extends to the two 120 mm Blademaster fans that are included. The premium radiator integrates a reservoir and two fill-port locations for easy maintenance and care in vertical and horizontal orientations. SATA power is provided to accommodate the improved pump performance.
Availability
The Glacer 240L will be available in October in USA. Price and availability may vary based on region.

But seriously. What is this. What happened. This is basically a Swiftech unit. Are CM paying that asshole of a company that law-suited Swiftech those licensing things?
Didn't Swiftech unit have PWM pump , I don't see that mention here, just fans .
swiftech unit get questioned IP removed and cm sticker.
switftech can now sell in usa, cm gets their %.
everyone is :D
and if it will have a similar price sa SWIFTECH will certainly bee BEST BUY product .We need real purchased only cooling element for the GPU or GPU's unit.. and a suitable radiator with fens as well ! with such solutions can greatly increases service life or increase the preformens
with owerclockeng without fear of overheating !I will lowe to see review here.:toast:
readtried to read.Should be best performing unit, a review crazyeyes? It only becomes obsolete when someone stops using it! ;)
Awesome cooler! My H220, with an extra 120mm rad for insurance, keeps an o/c'd FX-8350 and an o/c'd 7970 under 50C while crunching and folding @ full load 24/7 :pimp:
Similarity or copy in fact it is one the cheapest and best solution than is already written for future upgrade ! .The cooling system contains a number of expensive components

Whether or not it's similar or an exact copy, if it's the best and cheapest solution, I already have it marked for my next cooling upgrade. Because the kit contains high quality components, if the price is similar to the H220, it will certainly have best bang-for-the-buck. All that's needed for a complete loop is a VGA block and another radiator with fans. Such a solution will either greatly increase the service life of your components, or if overclocking, let you clock higher without fear of overheating. I would love to see a review on TPU!
His command of the English language may not be perfect, but his sentiments are spot on!
also hum ... doesnt look bad for a semi AIO (well just like the H220 but with CM tagged all over :D )
The differences are:
-Glacer 240L pump can operate at max 3500rpm compared to 3000 rpm. This means 2.65 mH20 head pressure.
-SATA power on the pump instead of 4 pin PWM. The 4pin PWM is still there, only to control the pump speed.
-There own PWM fans, same ones as Eisberg and there coolers.
- 2yr vs 3yr warranty w/Swiftech
- CM TIM vs Swiftech TIM
- no 8 way PWM splitter
- different badge on pump/block-it's only a piece of plastic*
* wondering if the Swiftech emblem is still cast into the unit on this model
NewEgg has them in stock for $129.99*
* i.e. $20-30 cheaper than when Swiftech was selling them :toast:
